The beautiful dune covered beach is a 10 minute walk from the Guest House. No matter what your interests may be - golfing, game & ocean safaris, a hike along the famous "Oyster Catcher Trail", mountain biking, Bungee Jumping, scuba or cage diving, horse riding - Richlyn's Guest House is conveniently located near to all these, and many more activities and attractions that have made the Garden Route such a desirable holiday destination.
The Guest House has three beautifully appointed rooms all with private bathrooms and sea views. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities. Clock radios. Hairdryers & International adaptors available on request.
Rosé Room
The elegance of the Victorian era and the delicacy of a fine rosé wine is captured in this quaint authentically furnished guest room. A cosy double bed awaits you after a wonderful day of exploring the Garden Route.
Chardonnay Room
This upstairs guest room greets you with a glow reminiscent of a fine chardonnay. Enjoy a warm romantic tropical ambience while you drift off in a comfy queen size bed.
Cabernet Room
The luxurious taste of cabernet wine is echoed in this spacious upper level guest room, furnished with a king size bed and antique furniture. Enjoy bird watching, buck, dolphins and whales, all from a massive deck boasting a spectacular 180° sea view.
Grapevine Cottage
A wonderful private self-catering stand alone cottage, can accommodate 2 couples or a family of 4. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave. Linen & Towels provided. Not serviced.
Our living area inside is ideal to lounge around with a good book or maybe enjoy a game of back gammon. Our cosy bar offers a complimentary sundowner for our guests.
The 'Roasted Garlic Bistro', is our small intimate restaurant where you can dine in an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication and enjoy a true gourmet experience. All our items are made on the premises - from pastas, pesto's, to breads and cakes. Open to our guests daily by prior arrangement.
Dana Bay has every convenience at your doorstep - Chemists, doctors, liquor stores, ATM's, petrol stations, post office, Laundromat, grocery shops and even spinning & aerobics! We are 10km from the historical town of Mossel Bay - where you can wander around museums, markets and gift shops and has a wide variety of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops and a movie house.
